Light and Dark

Having wisdom, knowledge, or intelligence does not always mean becoming cynical, pessimistic, or even a realist. Sometimes it’s seeing the evil in the world without letting it cloud out all of the absolutely beautiful experiences here as well. The fact that we are even alive right now is truly amazing, and I’m really grateful to have that outlook. I am not naive in the slightest..I am fully aware of the darkness this world can hold. I have sat in it, weeped in it, and embraced it. I am not living in sunshine and positivity, but I’ll be damned if I ever lose sight of the gift that is being alive. Find balance in the light and the dark and you’ll see that both can be true at the same time. 🖤💛🤍
